Accuracy, and how to correct it
Everything on this site reflects information I believed to be accurate at the time of writing. It is a personal account of a situation that is still developing, and it may be incomplete.
If you think something here is wrong, tell me. Email me at setting out what is inaccurate and, where you can, what the correct position is. I will look at it properly and correct anything I have got wrong. That offer is open to anyone, including the organisations named on this site.

The letter generator produces a template. It is general information, not legal advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances.
The letter is sent by you, from your own email account, in your own name. That means you are the one making the statements in it. Read it before you send it. If anything in it is not true of your situation, change it or delete it. If you are unsure, take your own advice.
I do not see your letter, I am not a party to it, and I cannot help you with what happens after you send it. If you need advice about your own position, speak to a solicitor. The Information Commissioner's Office also publishes free guidance on subject access requests at ico.org.uk, including their own template.
No warranty
This site is provided as is. I have tested the letter generator, but I cannot promise it will work perfectly in every browser and every email application. Some email clients shorten long messages. Check what has actually been composed before you press send, and use the copy button if anything looks wrong.
I am not liable for anything that follows from your use of this site, to the extent the law allows me to say so. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Your data
Nothing you type into the letter generator reaches me. There is no form submission, no database, and no mailing list. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
